Availability of Wiring Kits to Allow Mazda B3000-Series Pickup to Be Flat-Towed Behind Motorhome

Question:

I have a mazda b3000 pickup that I want to tow behind my RV. I see you have a wiring harness to tow something with the mazda. Do you make one to interface with the RV so we can tow the mazda?

We do offer wiring harnesses for vehicles that will be flat-towed behind a motor home. These are different harnesses than those used when that vehicle is towing a trailer.

Some flat-towing wiring/lighting systems are NOT vehicle-specific, like the easy-to-use magnetic lighting kits such as # TL21RK. These require no alternations to your vehicle and they are simple to install and remove.

The fit of some of these flat-towing components is specific to a vehicle's model year and version. Those include the base plates and the wiring kits that work. Tow bars like the Blue Ox Alpha # BX7380, safety cables and braking systems like the portable Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR are NOT vehicle specific. If you care to tell me your truck model year I can offer recommendations.

Flat towing a vehicle requires five basic items - tow bar, safety cables, the wiring or lighting kit, base plates on the towed vehicle and a supplementary braking system to operate its brakes when the motor home is braking. Each of these is explained in detail in the linked article on flat towing.
