Determining Braking Pressure on Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700
Question:
I have just installed the Invisibrake in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler XL. I havent completed the motor home side of things yet, but looking ahead I was wondering about the pressure setting on the Invisibrake. Is the setting from the factory acceptable or is there a known setting for towing a Jeep? I havent touched the adjustment knob yet. Thank you.

Expert Reply:
On the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 you will adjust the braking pressure between the 5 psi minimum and the 80 psi maximum based on the behavior of your specific Wrangler XL as well as personal preference. The factory setting may or may not be appropriate and there is no one specific setting for your vehicle that will apply in all cases.
