Availability of Sidewinder Pin Box for 1997 Dutchman 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
Can i use a Sidewinder on my 97 Dutchman fifth wheel that has a 45 degree telescoping king pin box? If so which turret would be recommended? I currently have a superglide sliding hitch but even with the low profile foot kit installed, the nose of the trailer sits high and there is no way to adjust the superglide any lower. If i I install a sidewinder I can use my old reese 16k hitch which has height adjustments. Thanks,

Thank you for the photo of your trailer's telescoping 45-degree pin box.
Availability of a Sidewinder type replacement 5th wheel pin box depends on cross-referencing the original's brand and part number to the listing included in the linked article. If you can advise your pin box brand and part number I will be glad to check for availability of a Sidewinder. The Sidewinder you referenced, part # ST400-5AS16K, is a replacement for several Leland pin box models.
Generally a telescoping type box like yours is less likely to have a corresponding Sidewinder.
