Are the rais for a 16k slider ok to use for a gooseneck

Yes, provided you use a gooseneck plate designed to fit above the bed 5th wheel rails you can tow a gooseneck trailer that is within the capacities of your truck. I recommend Curt Adapter item # 16055 since it is at a good price and the ball is offset in case you need a little more clearance to make turns. I have linked a video review for you.
