Where Should Diodes Be Placed When Installing Tow Bar Wiring On 2003 Chevrolet Tracker

Hi Eldon I am wiring up my 03 chev Tracker and instructions didnt come with mine so dont know were the diodes go on the Tracker, at rear or up front would you help ? Thanks

When installing the tow bar wiring like part # 38955 on your 2003 Chevrolet Tracker, you want to install the diodes as close to the tail lights on your Tracker as you can.

I have attached a link to an installation video for this wire harness on an Equinox. The vehicle may be different but you can check out the video at about the 2:20 mark and it shows how they are installing the diodes with the wiring. When installing the wiring on your Tracker you may need to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test the wires by function.
