What are the Useable Interior Dimensions for the Thule Canyon Roof Mount Cargo Basket
Question:
What are the interior dimensions of the TH859XT? I need to carry a dog crate that measures 43inch x 28 1/2, will it fit in the TH859XT Basket?

Expert Reply:
I went out to our demo area and measured the interior of the Thule Canyon XT roof basket # TH859XT. The interior, bottom of the carrier is approximately 39 inches long by 36 inches wide. But the model that has the extension, # TH859XT-8591XT, would work well since it is longer by 20 inches. I have included a link to a video review of this model for you.
