If your 1994 Ford E-350 van came with a factory installed 7-Way trailer connector then all you will need is the brake controller and the proper wiring harness. For Curt brake controllers the wiring harness is # C51322.

If the van came with a factory 4-Way then you will still use the same harness but the brake (blue) wire will need to be manually run from the brake controller back to the plug in the rear instead of going through the harness where it plugs into the vehicle.

The brake controller power supply and brake pedal wires are already run. A 12 volt "hot lead" from the battery will also require installation if necessary. You could use about 25 feet of wire # 10-2-1 for both the brake output wire and the 12 volt hot lead.

Then you will need # 37185 to add a 7-Way trailer connector.

And if the van did not come with a factory trailer connector you would need to first add a 4-Way using # 118343. then you would need to hardwire in the brake controller using installation kit # ETBC7. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you.

If the van is an RV cutaway or any other version other than the regular van then the 4-Way listed about might not work. In that case you would have to use a hardwire harness such as # 119178KIT to add a 4-Way.
