Torque Specs and Replacement Installation Hardware for Curt Class III # 13591 on 2015 Chevy Equinox
Question:
I purchased a Curt hitch 13591 from you for my 2012 Chevy Equinox that I have traded in for a 2015 Chevy Equinox. I want to install the hitch on the 2015 but need to know the torque settings for the 6 bolts, can you provide them to me

Expert Reply:
The Curt Class III hitch you referenced, part # 13591 will fit your 2015 Equinox.
However, please realize that the installation hardware you originally used is designed for a one-time use only. You can certainly reuse the hitch, but I'd strongly suggest you obtain replacement hardware before doing so.
We sell replacement installation hardware as part # RHK. On the product page, type in # 13591 as the part number choose Curt from the drop down menu.
I've linked you to the installation instructions for the Curt Class III hitch, part # 13591. Torque spec's are listed in Step 6. I've also linked you to an install video showing the hitch being installed on a 2015 Equinox.
