5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation Kit for a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 and Husky 5th Wheel Hitch
Question:
Will a Husky 16k 5th wheel hitch that we currently have on my 2010 Chevy 2500 HD fit on a 2015 GMC 2500 HD without having to buy a new installation kit. I know the bolts have to be replaced as they are a one time use only.

The 2010 Chevy Silverado 2500 and 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 use different under bed brackets so you would not be able to reuse the brackets but you can reuse the rails. For the brackets and hardware only you can either use # HT31852 or # HT31853.
Another option is to use a different kit and get all new parts. the Reese universal kit # RP30035 costs less as a complete kit than either of the bracket kits above. But since it is a universal kit there is drilling into the truck frame required.
