Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Carrier for 2 Felt Verza Electric Bikes on a Toyota FJ Cruiser
Question:
I bought two felt electric bikes with Bosch electric motor, they are called Felt Verza. Both of the bikes are step thru, they will be for a Toyota FJ Cruiser with spare tire on back. the bikes have a very low step thru and the mid motor, also both bikes have fenders. The bikes weigh about 40 lbs each with battery removed. Thanks for any suggestions

For electric bikes there is only 1 bike carrier I recommend, the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR. This carrier is over built to handle heavy electric bikes. Leave the batteries on because this carrier has a capacity of 80 pounds per bike.
It measure 7-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the bracket where the carrier tilts and then another couple of inches from that point to the center of the wheel cradles. Use these measurements to ensure the carrier will clear the back of the vehicle.
The step-through frames will not be a problem if you use adapter bars such as # 64005 so the center hooks have something to hold on to. I have included a link to a video review of this carrier for you.
