Effectiveness of K-Source Vision System Rearview Mirror # KSVS55020 At Nighttime
Question:
On your opinion, how good is the recording of this camera at night, since it has no NV leds for enhancement ? Also, is the rear camera any good ? as it does not mention that it is even weather resistant ? Does the company provide GPS updates and or replacement parts IF needed ? The rear camera in the K-Source Vision System Rearview Mirror # KSVS55020 is weather-resistant according to my contact there. The camera does not include infrared capability for nighttime viewing but relies on the vehicle's reverse lights for illumination. The system does not require or provide GPS updates for new roads. It just records where you drove. My contact advised that if needed they could make a replacement rear camera available.
The included 8GB SD memory card can store up to 1 hour in HD mode and 2 hours in VGA mode. It automatically overwrites the oldest information on the card once it is full and offers a choice of 6 language options. The system carries a 90-day warranty.
