Recommended Budget-Priced Weight Distribution System for 30 Foot Travel Trailer
Question:
I am looking into a weight distribution hitch. I would like to know what would be good for my set up. I have a 2015 f 350. Towing a 30 foot hideout with a 600 tongue weight. I am trying to stay under $300.

I'll assume that the 600 lb tongue weight represents the tongue weight of the trailer as it's typically loaded and ready to tow. I'll link you to an FAQ article that shows how to find the tongue weight of your trailer, because the effectiveness of the system will depend on how well it's matched to the weight of the trailer.
The Pro Series # PS49582 meets your price point and would be effective on trailers with tongue weights ranging from 550-750 lbs. The system works with one or two friction sway control units # 83660, but we recommend using two friction sway units on travel trailers over 26 feet in length, because longer trailers with high sides like travel trailers are very susceptible to crosswinds and turbulence caused by passing traffic. You can add the second sway unit, part # 83660 and still remain at your price point.
