Can Trailer Wiring Converter Box be Placed Behind Tail Light on 2014 Chrysler Town and Country
Question:
What are the physical H,W,D dimensions of the interface box? Will it mount behind the tail light assembly in my 2014 Town and Country? I think most installations show mounting it behind the bumper but Id like to have it more protected behind the tail light. I realize I might have to splice a short piece of wire into the green wire which connects with the right-hand side tail light so it will reach.

There likely isn't enough space directly behind the tail light assembly for the converter box on your 2014 Chrysler Town and Country. I would not put it in that location anyway because the converters do generate some heat and directly behind a tail light assembly is going to be too confined.
But you could place it just below the assembly. That way it isn't confined and it is more protected like you want.
Like you said though you will likely not have enough slack for the green wire to reach the passenger's side.
