do i need a heavy duty flasher for a 2004 ford escape for my trailer lights i got a wireing harness on my ford

You should not have to use a heavy duty flasher on your 2004 Ford Escape for the trailer wiring harness to work properly, especially if the vehicle came with the factory tow package. It would already be set up for the draw of towing a trailer.
Aftermarket harnesses will also be fine provided you stay within the stated amperage draw for the harness.
