Having Trouble Releasing Erickson Re-Tractable Ratchet Straps # EM34420

I purchased 8 Erickson Re-Tractable Rachet Straps from you guys 3 years ago, having trouble with them releasing. I seem to be having trouble with all of them, only been used a few times, not left in weather etc,............Any suggestions?

I recommend spraying the gears on the Erickson Re-Tractable Ratchet Straps, # EM34420, with a silicone-based lubricant. This should help with the problem.
