How To Remove The Trailer Wiring Harness On 2008 Chevrolet Equinox

I need to replace the harness that is plugged into to the adapter that is inside the jack compartment how do you unplug it it is a 2008 equinox

I have attached a photo of the connector on the wiring harness, part # C56012 that is attached to the connector you have in in your 2008 Chevrolet Equinox in the jack area at the rear.
The top flatter part of the connector should be facing out toward the center of the cargo area. Reach behind the flat area that has the tab and press down to release the connector while firmly pulling the connector. This should pull right out and allow you to replace the harness with a new part. I have attached a link to a video that shows the installation on an Equinox you can check out.
