Yes, you can tow a trailer with your 2008 Kia Rondo. I found a copy of the owner's manual online and found the following towing capacities.
First, if the trailer does NOT have brakes models with the 2.4 or 2.7 liter motor can tow 1,000 pounds. If the trailer does have brakes then the 2.4 can tow 1,500 pounds and the 2.7 can tow 2,000 pounds.
The tongue weight capacity for the 2.4 liter is 150 pounds regardless of whether or not the trailer has brakes. And for the 2.7 liter it is 200 pounds.
I recommend Curt trailer hitch # C11031. You just need to add the pin and clip # F-4 and ball mount # C45023.
For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258.
And for trailer wiring you can use # 118431. I have linked a video showing how the wiring installs and links to instructions for the hitch and wiring.
