Both Trailer Turn Signals Flash When One is Turned on
Question:
If I put the left turn signal on both left and right will flash If I put the right turn signal on both left and right will flash. please tell me what Ive done wrong

Issues where lights are flashing at inappropriate times is often an indication of a ground issue, meaning that the circuit is open and not complete. I would first go ahead and check all the grounds on your trailer, including the grounds from the trailer connector, electric brakes if applicable, and on all trailer lights. Make sure all grounds are still firmly connected to a suitable grounding point.
I would also recommend making sure that there are no exposed or pinched points along the trailer wiring, especially on the green and yellow wires, that may be touching against metal.
Another possibility would be that there is a mis-wire situation causing the lights to function improperly. The included link contains some diagrams that should be helpful, but I would be glad to make some more definite suggestions if you could confirm the type of connector your trailer has, and the year, make, and model of your vehicle.
