Troubleshooting Brake Controller in a 2000 GMC Sierra that Isn't Sending Voltage to 7-Way

Question:

I have power in and out of the break control box but no power at my bumper?? Must be a bad wire??

If you tested the brake output circuit near the brake controller and you are getting voltage but it's not making it to the 7-way at the rear of your vehicle then yes, the problem is on the wiring somewhere between where you tested it and the 7-way. UNLESS you haven't made all the needed connection under the hood of your 2000 GMC Sierra to complete the brake controller wiring.

Check out the help article I attached that details the connections that need to be made. I also attached an install video for you to check out that shows the connections as well.
