Question:
Im looking for a electronic break controller for a 2005 LR3. Im been looking at the ones on sale. I am towing a 24 foot camper wt: 5,000lbs. So far I have no problems towing it without the break controller. Thanks

It is a good idea to install a brake controller on your 2005 Land Rover LR3 when towing your camper. With a brake controller installed, it can eliminate the push-pull action you can experience when towing a trailer or camper.
I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, part # 90885. This is a proportional controller that activates the brakes on your camper in direct proportion to the braking action of your LR3. This results in less wear and tear on both your LR3 and the camper brakes. This is one of our most popular brake controller because it is easy to install and operate. This controller will work with electric or electric-over-hydraulic trailer brakes.
The plug-in adapter for this controller is part # 3035-P. This makes installation simple by plugging one end into the back of the brake controller and the other end into the brake controller port located under your dash near the steering column or near the center console.
I have attached a product review video for the brake controller and a helpful article about brake controllers you can check out.
