Will the Trailer Wiring Harness Affect a 2008 Land Rover LR2 Back-up System
Question:
I just purchased this kit for use on a 2008 Land Rover LR2 HSE. The cars have rear back-up sensors in bumper. Will this componant disable that system, or is something further required?

No, the # C59496 trailer wiring harness for the 2008 LR2 by Land Rover will not affect the back-up sensors on your vehicle. No other parts are required to install a 4-Way trailer connection.
This harness is in no way tied into the reverse circuit and only uses the vehicles brake, turn and tail light signals as a switch, the power for the trailer lighting comes from the vehicle battery.
I have posted instructions for the # C59496 below.
