Can a Euro Style Ball Mount Work with a Class I Hitch Receiver

Can euro ball mounts be used in a class I hitch receiver?

Currently, all the Euro ball mounts we currently offer are Class II rated. Any Class II rated Euro ball mounts like # C45592 will not fit on Class I trailer hitches unless it's a Curt Class I hitch.
The reason is because Class I trailer hitches are tested and rated with specific ball mounts for the hitch and if you use a ball mount not recommended by the manufacturer will void the warranty.
