How to Secure Trailer Screen Door from the Outside to Keep Dog Inside
Question:
Im looking for something that will secure my trailer screen door closed from the outside to keep my dog from pushing on it from the inside. Door sometimes doesnt completely latch and could be easily pushed open. Any suggestions? thanks!

The simplest solution for you may be to have the door latch repaired so the pooch cannot push it open. If this is not a good option then a latch like # SL716 might do the trick. This spring loaded latch has a rust-resistant zinc-plated finish and it installs with hardware you supply. You'll need to install this so that the pin has a spot on the trailer door frame (or on the door) to grab.
