Installation of SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack # SR1002 and Short Roof Adapter # SR1116
Question:
Hello, I am trying to install the SR1002 to my 1994 Honda Accord 2 door LX and I have a few questions. 1. should the feet line up exactly with the rain gutters ? 2. what can i do other than ensuring all screws are tight to ensure that the roof rack and snowboard carrier are fastened securely to the vehicle and can safely travel at highway speeds if you have instructional videos for installing the sr1002 on a 2 door vehicle i would love to see it to use as reference. thank you in advance.

The four foot assemblies included in the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack # SR1002 can be adjusted relative to the crossbars. Their exact position depends on each unique vehicle as listed in the instructions. The linked video illustrates. This adjustment can effect their exact position on the rain gutters.
So long as you positioned the rack as directed by the manufacturer then the foot assemblies should be close to lining up with the rain gutters. There may be some slight variation but so long as the installation was completed as per the instructions no additional steps are needed. Just the same it is a good idea to periodically check the tightness of the clamps.
