Does Green Light on Voyager Brake Controller Only Come On when a Trailer is Connected
Question:
Does the 9020 voyager when hard wired up green light supposed to be on ? Or only when hooked to a trailer .

On the Voyager brake controller # 39510 the green light should only come on when a trailer is connected. The other lights should light up if you are applying the manual override even without a trailer connected. But you should not see a green light unless a trailer is connected.
If you do see the green light without a trailer connected that means that there is a draw on the brake output circuit. This is normally due to a dirty/corroded trailer connector. Make sure the trailer connector on the vehicle is clean and free of corrosion inside and out.
