Recommended 2 Bike Bike Rack for 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
I purchased a 2015 Subaru Outback and had it fitted with a factory installed trailer hitch. I need to buy a bike rack for 2 bikes one ladies, the other mens. I have looking at the Thule 9028 on your website. Would this be a good fit for my Outback or can you suggest another product that you carry.

The Thule Vertex 2 Bike Carrier # TH9028, which you reference, is one of our most popular bike racks, and it is also our easiest to use rack. This bike rack has arcing arms to allow for easy loading and unloading, anti-sway cradles and tilting abilities to allow for access to the rear of your vehicles.
A video and installation instructions for this rack are also included.
An adapter will be needed for carrying each bike that does not have a top bar that will allow the bike to be carried level. The Thule Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT, would be a good choice. We have a video showing the use of this item for you to review, see link.
To secure the bikes to your vehicle I recommend using a cable lock, like the 10 foot Long Cable Lock, # e98891, which can be routed through the bike frames and the hitch safety chain loops to protect your bikes from theft.
