How to Pick Out a Ball Mount and Hitch Ball for a 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon

I installed a ecohitch on my 15 Subaru Outback. Now I need a ball mount and ball. What do I need? Confused.

Expert Reply:
In order to pick out the correct ball mount to use for towing you want to pick out one that will allow your trailer to be towed as level as possible. This means you will need to determine what rise/drop ball mount you would need. Check out the help article I attached that details how to do this.
The correct hitch ball will depend on the trailer you plan on towing. The coupler of the trailer will be designed for either a 1-7/8 inch or 2 inch ball most likely. I also attached a help article on hitch balls for you to check out as well.
