2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited Trailer Wiring Recommendation
Question:
I have a 2013 Santa Fe Limited and I see under the left rear tire there are pre wires for the towing wires. Your company sells two different wiring harnesses for this. One needs a power wire to the battery. Could you tell me if in fact the pre wire will work w/o running a wire all the way to the battery? If not why would they bother pre wiring it and how could I make the pre-wire work w/o running a wire to the battery?

What you will want to do is test the pins of the connector you found underneath your 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe for voltage with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993. If there is voltage there on the pins while your turns signals or brake lights are activated then the plug is active and you could use the # C56332 as trailer wiring.
If not, the best recommendation I can make is the # C56332 which plugs inline with your trailer taillights and has to have a power wire run to the battery.
