Recommended Locking Hitch Pin For Hitch Cover In 2 Inch Hitch On 2012 Acura MDX
Question:
I have the Draw-Tite 75614 on my 2012 Acura MDX, I am wondering what would be the best hitch pin to attach this hitch cover.. There are 2 holes in the hitch receiver - a 1/2inch hole at approximately 1 inch and a 5/8inch hole at approximately 2.5. If I buy the 5/8inch hitch pin, will the hitch cover extend into the receiver far enough for the holes to line up? Thanks

The Virginia Chrome Logo Emblem 2 inch Hitch Cover, part # AMG100703 is designed to fit a 2 inch receiver like the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch, part # 75614 you have on your 2012 Acura MDX. I took a measurement of the hitch cover for you and have attached a photo with the measurement noted. The center of the hitch pin hole on the cover is 2-1/2 inches from the back of the cover. This should fit your hitch just right.
If you want to lock your cover to the hitch and deter theft I recommend the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock, part # e98880.
