Hitch Recommendation for a 2014 Ford Focus Sedan
Question:
Im looking to purchase a trailer hitch for my 2014 Ford Focus sedan. I would like to pull a smaller utility trailer and use a bike hitch as well. Im not familiar with the different types of trailers that are offered. The Hidden Hitch trailer hitch has a drawbar and the DrawTite hitch does not. Is a drawbar something that I need for what I want my hitch for? Any help and advice would be great. Thank you.

Since you plan on towing a small trailer you will want a draw bar so the Curt part # C11158 would be your best choice. You will need drawbar number 3593. The drawbar will insert into the hitch and will provide the attachment point for the hitch to the trailer.
You will also need a hitch ball to complete the connection. For that you would want the part # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball or part # 19258 for a 2 inch hitch ball. For trailer wiring you would want part # 118548. I attached an FAQ article on towing that should be helpful as well.
The most popular bike rack we carry that has been confirmed to fit this vehicle is the Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack part # S64670. This rack has a ton of positive reviews from our customers who have tried it. Check out the review video I attached for more info.
