The Timbren Rear-Axle Vehicle Suspension Kit # TGMRCK15S that you referenced is a confirmed fit for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2-wheel-drive version as long as it is not the XFE. These rubber jounce springs install in place of your factory bump stops - without drilling - and provide progressive load support. When your truck bed is empty they will not affect the ride quality, but when it is carrying a load the springs will engage and provide more (progressive) resistance as the load increases.
