Recommended Tow Bar Wiring For 2015 Ford Explorer

Question:

Does Trailer Mate make a custom wiring kit for a 2015 Ford Explorer as the towed vehicle ? I used part# TM781117 for my jeep and it works well. Not sure which part# if any would work for the Ford. Yall were so helpful getting that part for me I thought I would ask for your help again. Thanks so much !

We do offer tow bar wiring that is designed to fit the 2015 Ford Explorer.

I recommend the Roadmaster Tow Bar Wiring Kit, part # 154-792-118158. This kit is designed to work with your 2015 Ford Explorer with the separate lighting system. This kit includes the converter that will adapt an RV 2-wire system to work with the Explorer separate lighting system. I have attached a wiring diagram you can check out. I have also attached a link to an installation video for this kit. It is on a different vehicle but the installation will be similar for your Explorer.
