Footplate Install in the Fulton F2 Adjustable A-Frame Trailer Jack

Question:

Hi, Can you show how to REMOVE THE EXISTING FOOTPLATE twin track from a STOCK Fulton Jack #F1413250334 AND REPLACE IT with a Replacement Wide-Track Wheel Assembly #F500266 please? I saw the video showing the replacement but not the removal. It shows a collar for the pin to go through that is not on my F2 Jack and I dont know how to remove the existing footplate. Thanks!

Expert Reply:

I spoke with my Fulton representative, who tells me that the Fulton # F1413250334 is set up to accept a wheel or a footplate, which will be held in by a snapper pin. If the jack doesn't have the collar with the pin hole, you must have a different jack that has the foot or caster permanently fixed in place.
