Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder
Question:
hello i have a 2007 nissan pathfinder and these vehicles have had a history of the radiator coolant contaminating the transmission oil. id like to bypass the radiator with an external trans cooler. what would you suggest for this year pathfinder? id like something that will last and be efficient but i probably wont be towing anything. thanks so much!

Usually the best way to pick out a transmission cooler is to measure the available space in front of the radiator and go with the biggest one that will fit that area. Even though you won't be towing this would still be the best method to use since you plan to bypass your factory cooler.
The Derale Cooler part # D13503 would be an excellent choice that measures 11" wide x 8-3/4" tall x 7/8" deep. I attached an install video plus an FAQ article on transmission coolers for you to check out as well.
