Supplemental Braking Recommendation for a 2012 Chevy Silverado 3500 Being Flat Towed
Question:
I am driving a Prevost motor home with air braking and towing a 2012 Silverado 3500 diesel. Will the Roadmaster RM-9400 work well as a braking system for me or is there a better choice such as the Roadmaster Brakemaster?

Both systems will work on your 2012 Silverado 3500. I checked with Roadmaster and the Even Brake Part # RM-9400 as well as the Brake Master # RM-9160 have been confirmed to work with your truck.
Since you have air brakes on your motorhome I think the Brakemaster would be the better choice. You will also need the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751220 and the Seat Adapter part # RM-88158 . Some argue that this is the best tow bar braking system on the market so it should work very well for you.
I also attached an FAQ on supplemental tow bar braking to the right that you should find helpful as well.
