Normally LED lights (light emitting diodes, actually) have a very long lifespan, far longer than standard incandescent lights. Usually an LED in a device will last longer than the device itself. Despite this it is still possible that the LED on your Voyager brake controller has simply burned out. If the trailer brakes are operating properly and in all other respects the controller is working normally, then this is likely to be the case.
If your Voyager is still within its 5-year warranty you might want to contact the retailer where you purchased it. The folks at Tekonsha also are terrific about standing behind their products.
