Can Ultra-Fab Skid Wheels # UF48-979013 Be Mounted Using U-Bolts
Question:
Any suggestion for using U-bolts to mount UF48-979013 on a Jayco Seneca that has a 3x3 not 2.5 x 2.5 Class IV hitch? Thank you.

Yes, the Ultra-Fab Skid Wheels, # UF48-979013, can be mounted with U-bolts on your Jayco Seneca with a 3" x 3" hitch.
A picture of the mounting plate with the measurements for the mounting holes has been attached. I spoke with my contact at Ultra-Fab and you will want to use at least a grade 5 U-bolt, which can be found at most local hardware stores, when mounting the skid wheels. Since the mounting holes that you will want to use measure 5-1/4" apart, he also recommends using some type of block on each side of your hitch cross member to fill the gap between it and the U-bolt. This will help to ensure that there won't be any movement of the skid wheels on the cross member.
Please note that the mounting plate should be positioned between the caster plate and the hitch bar/crossmember, not on top of the hitch bar.
