Recommended Wiring When Flat-Towing A 2000 Honda CR-V
Question:
Since the Brakemaster activates the brake light, not the motorhome, I assume I omit the brake light portion of this installation.

When installing the Roadmaster BrakeMaster w/ BrakeAway and Pressure Reducer, part # RM-9160-900002 there are a few things that will also be needed to complete the installation.
You will need the RoadMaster BrakeMaster Custom Seat Adapter, part # RM-88160. This mounts beneath the CR-V seat and is hidden when the brake system is not being used.
You will still need to install the Roadmaster 6-Diode Universal Wiring Kit, part # 154-792-118158 because you need turn signals when towing your 2000 Honda CR-V. When installing the # 154-792-118158, you will need the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass, part # RM76511. This will allow you to bypass the vehicle mini-fuse so you do not drain your CR-V battery when towing.
I have attached links to a couple of videos you can check out.
