2010 Nissan Frontier King Cab 7-Way Trailer Connector Not Functioning Properly
Question:
I have a factory installed 7 pin plug in at the trailer hitch on the back of my pickup. The running /tail lights quit working. I noticed the 7 pin plug was cracked and I dont have 12 v power on the running light pin. I checked for 12 v power all the way back to where the wiring harness plugs in but no power. The brake and signal lights work fine. Where is the fuse located for the running lights on the 7 pin plug in - or could it be 1 of these relays they are talking about that is located inside panel on passenger side under the dash?

What it sounds like to me is the relay could be blown. Since you know where the relays are located, check your relays by replacing with a new relay. This is the best way to tell if you have a bad relay somewhere.
I would still recommend looking at your owners manual to locate other potential relays and fuses related to the tow package wiring.
Since your 7-way vehicle end connector is cracked, you could always replace it with # N40975. It also includes the 3 relays required to activate the wiring harness.
I have included a FAQ and installation video for you too.
