While the lights might still work for the functions on the cupholder that actual switches in the cupholder may not. If you haven't already I would try swapping the cupholders to see if that makes a difference or not. If it's not the cupholder like the part # 195-387597 it's probably the power control box like the part # LC36FR which is for the Seismic line. You can try swapping those too to see if that allows the one side to work.

Sounds like possibly a loose connection to the cupholder wiring connectors of your Thomas Payne couch or the cupholder wiring is bad and would need to be replaced. For a replacement we have the part # 195-387597 which in the product pictures you can see how it connects to the couch's wiring.
