  • Braking system solution for 1999 Jeep Wrangler Flat Towed by 2013 Ford F150
  • I would suggest using the Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524. It is a great option that requires minimal installation for power and emergency brake away cables. It is also portable so it can be moved to different vehicles very easily. It includes a remote that you can use in your Ford F150 or any other vehicle with a 12 power supply. The remote allows you to receive feedback from the unit as well as be able to adjust the sensitivity while you drive. This...

  • Parts Needed to Flat Tow 2003 Jeep TJ Wrangler with D-Rings Mounted on Front Bumper
  • If you have D-rings on the bumper of your 2003 Jeep Wrangler front bumper we have a couple options depending on the width of them. We have the part # RM-035-1 which is for 1 inch thick D-rings or the # RM-035 for 3/4 inch thick D-rings. The only issue is that these are not compatible with your Stowmaster tow bar since this only fits with the tow bars that store on the motorhome. So you'd need to upgrade to a new tow bar with something like our very popular Roadmaster Falcon # RM-520.

  • The trailer hitches we offer for a 1997 Jeep Wrangler like the Draw Tite # 75193 do not require you to remove the rear bumper. Basically the hitch just gets raised into position and bolted in place. I attached an install video for more info on this.

  • Replacement Landing Gear for Fleetwood Trailer
  • The Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear Set # LG-3 referenced in your question features a standard weld stop dimension of 17-1/2 inches from outside to outside on the weld stops. You mentioned that you took your 17-1/2 inch measurement from the bottom of the top weld stop to the bottom of the bottom weld stop. If you actually took this measurement from the top of the top weld stop to the bottom of the bottom weld stop, then this system will bolt up perfectly to your existing brackets....

  • 7-Way Replacement Recommendation for Ford F-350 that Uses Square Connector
  • Although I don't know the year of your Ford F-350 it does sound like you have an older Super Duty that uses the square connector for the trailer wiring which means that for a 7-way replacement you'd need the # 118243 for something that would plug right in. If you needed the 7 and 4-way connectors you'd need to swap out the included 7-way for the # HM40950 and you'd be set. The Bestop Underseat Locking Storage Box # B4264101 that you referenced does not fit flip or fold up seats but will...

  • Can Demco SBS Stay N Play DUO Work on 2000 Jeep Wrangler TJ
  • Yes, the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System part # DM86VR will work on a 2000 Jeep Wrangler with hydro-boost brakes. The vacuum connections however will be different than those in the instructions, instead you'll need to simply leave the factory installed check valve open and not connect it to anything. This will just send more air pressure to the air cylinder.

  • 7-Way Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2002 Jeep Wrangler
  • You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want the # 118409. Now if your trailer does not have brakes all you would need is the part # 37185 as an adapter to convert the 4-way to a 7-way. If you do have trailer brakes you would need the # ETBC7 instead of the # 37185 and a brake controller. This kit comes with everything needed to wire up the 7-way and install a brake controller. For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller...

  • If the D-ring bumper mounts are 3/4 inch you'd want the part # RM-035 for base plate kit adapters or if they are instead # RM-035-1 for if they are 1 inch. In addition to the base plates, you will also need a compatible tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking to flat tow your vehicle. • Thanks so much for the photos and specs! For flat-tow parts on your 2006 Jeep Wrangler, you need a D-ring adapter, a tow bar, a tow braking system, safety cables, and vehicle tow wiring You can definitely use your aftermarket off-road bumper with the 1-inch D-rings attached as long as the bumper is approved to flat-tow. • Charging Battery on 2005 Jeep While Being Towed Behind Motorhome
  • In order to get power from your motorhome to your 2005 Jeep while you're flat towing you'll need a working 7 way with 12 volts. Since the front of your Jeep has a 4 way flat on it you will need to change out the plug because all 4 wires are being used. The tail light circuit won't have enough power to charge the battery and run the lights on your Jeep, however you won't be forced to rewire everything, just the plug on the front of the Jeep. If you don't have 12V at the back of the 7 way...
