Vehicle warranties fall under the authority of a federal law called the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act. The act states, in part, that your warranty must still be honored unless the part installed actually caused the malfunction.
The Curt wiring harness # C59236 that you referenced is a powered trailer taillight harness, just like the # C59496 which is the harness recommended for your 2014 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen. Both of these are hardwired installations that require cutting and splicing... view full answer...
You cannot add sway control to the Fastway e2 weight distribution hitch because it has sway control built in already, and there isn't a way to double up, so to speak. If you aren't getting the proper amount of sway control it is likely you have an improperly rated set up. You need to know your loaded tongue weight (if you aren't sure what it is you need to use a scale like # e99044), and pick the set up based off that. Your tongue weight should be in the middle of the system's weight ratings:

Due to the way the Curt Trailer Hitch # C11474 fits on a 2009 VW Jetta Sedan (note: the Curt does not fit a TDI) - with the crossmember below the bumper fascia - I do not recommend using the hitch as a brace for a hydraulic floor jack.
You may be able to use one of these hitches with a different jack, and I recommend checking out the Powerbuilt Unijack Bottle Jack # ALL620471. This jack has a 6,000 lb capacity and measures 11 inches tall; it can lift 10 inches for a total height of 21... view full answer...
The Malone MicroSport Trailer part # MPG460G comes with all of the necessary related documents that will be needed to register the trailer. Once you obtain these documents you will want to take them with you to your local department of motor vehicles (DMV) to register the trailer. If you are looking for specific information on towing a trailer in NJ then you would need to contact your local Department of Transportation (DOT). view full answer...
Either rack would likely interfere with the camera to a degree, as the camera sits at the top of the license plate, but because the Transfer's frame is U-shaped with only the arms that hold the bike wheels in place going across, they will interfere much less than those of the Sherpa # SH22G would. The Sherpa is a more traditional design with a central rib and transverse mounted rails that the bikes would sit on. These structures would be much more likely to interfere with the camera.

The short answer is no, adding a trailer hitch receiver to your 2019 Volkswagen Golf GTI will not void your warranty because you are protected by what is called the Federal Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act. This act says if something breaks on your vehicle and you take it in for warranty repair, the dealer must honor your warranty unless whatever you have added to your vehicle or its installation actually caused the problem in question.
The trailer hitch receivers that fit your 2019 VW Tiguan... view full answer...

I reached out to Go Power, who supplies most of our solar equipment, and they said a new solar controller is not necessarily needed for a 200 amp hour lithium battery.
They said newer controllers should have a lithium profile charging option, but even if it does not, older controllers with the AGM profile will still charge the battery, but it may not top it off. So if your current controller has a lithium profile you are good, otherwise I do recommend a controller designed for use with... view full answer...
You will need to contact a Volkswagen dealer to explain the mechanics of why, we go by the recommendations of the manufacturer as they have designed and built the vehicles. We consider them the final authority of what their products are capable of. Generally speaking it is due to the transmission and final drive components that allow/prevent one engine option as opposed to another.
For the 2013 model year Volkswagen Beetle, the 2.0 liter engine is not recommended by VW so you will... view full answer...
Do not worry, if you do not already have your hitc, you are not absolutely stuck buying a whole new hitch and new bike rack for your 2016 Volkswagen Golf SE.
While we do only sell Class I 1-1/4" hitch receivers for your vehicle, you can use a 1-1/4" to 2" Hitch adapter # HTAD to fit your Bike Rack that fits on a 2" receiver. However, if you use a hitch adapter, this will cut your tongue weight capacity in half when carrying a bike rack. All the hitches we offer for your 2016 Volkswagen... view full answer...
With the Curt Echo Brake Controller # C51180 it would not detect natural deceleration from coasting. There may be a small drop but nothing significant. When going uphill there will be no change what so ever the braking power will be the same as when you started. So the only time it will actually have a significant change is if you apply the brakes and it sees brake lights.

If your 2014 Volkswagen Beetle and trailer don't already have one, I recommend installing a 7-way connector, Universal Installation Kit, # ETBC7, for the Beetle and 7-Way Round RV Style Trailer Connector, # A7WCB, for the trailer.
With this set-up you would use the 7-way on the Beetle to provide constant 12V power to the battery on your trailer. You shouldn't have any issues with this set-up blowing a fuse.
Wiring the battery in this way will maintain the charge on the battery. Aside... view full answer...

No, installing a trailer hitch like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C38JR you were looking at will not void the warranty you have on your 2022 Volkswagen Taos.

The trailer wiring harness you mentioned, part # C59496 will provide lighting functions only for your trailer. The wire ran to the battery on the # C59496 is used to power the trailer lights, while the wire leads tapped into the taillight circuits tell the converter which taillight function is being used. When the wire used in the taillight circuits of the vehicle is of insufficient gauge to allow enough power through to power the trailer taillights, a powered converter is used to draw... view full answer...
