The license plate camera system we currently offer all require A/V input so as long as both your F-350 and Excursion displays have A/V input you can use a system like the Rear View Safety Backup Camera # RVS-778. If the display doesn't have A/V input then you would have to use a system that replaces the rear view mirror, like part # RVS-778718N, or one that comes with a separate monitor like the Hopkins # HM50002 you were looking at.
If the F-350 display doesn't have A/V input you could... view full answer...
The tire step # HE4040 can be adjusted to fit any tire size up to a 22 inch rim so that would include your 37s since the 18 in the tire size is the wheel diameter. This step uses a strap to go around the tire for support rather than a rigid bar like most other tire steps which is why it can be used with larger tires. view full answer...
We do indeed have a front mounted receiver that's a fit for the 2001 Excursion, part # 65022. The hitch would install directly to the front of the frame members behind the bumper. Installation involves removing the bumper, and sandwiching the hitch in between the frame members and the bumper as shown in the instructions I've linked. If your Expedition is equipped with the OEM foglights, they'll need to be relocated or removed for the receiver to fit.
The Curt # C31014 front mounted receiver... view full answer...
The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, item # TFREXC4, is only the rear kit for your 2001 Excursion 4x4.
For the front suspension you will need the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System, item # TFF350SD4. These front suspension helpers will definitely help with the large 7.3L motor in your Excursion.
Both of these kits will require the removal of the original bump stop but will not require shock or spring removal and do not require any modifications to the original chassis.... view full answer...
You are correct that the TorkLift Suspension Upgrade # TLA7310 is designed to work with vehicles that have factory leaf springs and lower overload springs and would not work on your 2005 Ford Excursion without them.
To upgrade your Excursion's suspension I recommend taking a look at the RoadActive Suspension Kit # RAS3621. This kit will enhance your Excursion's handling while reducing sway and body roll, whether or not you have a load in the vehicle. It comes assembled, is made in the... view full answer...
Derale has indicated that transmission cooler pan, # D14208 will fit the Ford diesel motors or gas motors if they have the 4R100 transmission. They do not have different models depending on the engine type, just transmission type. I have included a link to other coolers that are also recommended for your 2000 Ford Excursion, and some FAQ information for you. view full answer...
Since we know you have a double step and the A linkage the Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379145 that you referenced is the correct kit.
There isn't a way to retract the steps manually. view full answer...
Yes, you can use weight distribution shank # RP54998 in place of shank # RP54970. The hole spacing and size to mount the weight distribution head is the same on both shanks. view full answer...
The Aluminum Roof Mounted Cargo Basket # 288-09200 is compatible with any vehicle that has a crossbar spread in the 17-3/4" - 24-3/4" range. Crossbar spread is the distance from one crossbar to the same spot on the other crossbar. From what I can see it looks like your 2000 Ford Excursion has factory tracks the crossbars install on so you should be able to adjust the roof rack to meet the needs of this carrier.
If you don't already have a roof rack I recommend checking out the rhino-Rack... view full answer...
I have an option but we do not offer a cargo basket that will fit the factory side rails on your 2003 Ford Excursion.
I recommend adding the Thule Roof Rack System which you will need Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711400, Rapid Podium Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH460R, Fit Kit for Thule Podium-Style Roof Rack Feet # THKIT3101. The Thule Roof Rack System will allow you to install a variety of different roof mounted accessories. I attached the link that has all of these parts included,... view full answer...
Because the stock ride height has changed, the # TFREXC4 Timbrens for the Excursion would be ineffective for the very reason you mentioned. They'd be too short, and the suspension would compress a great deal before the Timbrens would make contact with the axle beam. However, we can still find a Timbren solution for you. With the wheels on the ground, measure the height distance between the top of the axle and the frame member where the factory bump stop mounts (see diagram).
If you can... view full answer...
There are replacements for the factory 7-way on your 2002 Ford Excursion but part # 118243 will not fit.
Instead I recommend the Reese Multi-Plug Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # 74682 which will plug directly into the 7-way socket of your '02 Excursion (assuming you have the factory tow package) and provide you with a 7-way and a 4-way. I've added a link to a video review of this harness for you to take a look at. view full answer...
The Replacement Frame Bracket Kit 32333 won't allow you to convert your chain-style Husky system to the clamp-on style Centerline system. So if you want a weight distribution hitch with integrated sway control which is a clamp-on style, it would require a new system. The best option for a 1,200 lb system is the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution with 2-Point Sway Control # FA92-00-1200.
I really like the Fastway for its superior sway control, which is created by friction at two points on the... view full answer...
A checked with Thule and the Motion cargo box, # TH629906, will fit the factory crossbars on the 2005 Ford Excursion but there will be rear hatch interference because of the boxes 100-1/2 inch length. The largest box that will fit without rear hatch interference is the Motion 18, # TH629806. view full answer...
The RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit part # RAS3621 which is a fit for a 2003 Ford Excursion is compatible with certain air bag kits like the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2255 because they don't mount on the leaf spring pack which is where the RAS installs. view full answer...
The Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-154 is the correct rear sway bar for your 2001 Ford Excursion. The leveling kit you installed likely only raised the front suspension and will not affect the position of the rear suspension so you should not have any fitment issues unless you raised the rear suspension in another way. The larger wheels and tires while giving you more ground clearance will not raise the axle position on your vehicle. I have linked a copy of the installation instructions... view full answer...
I have another option for you but the Hayes Sway Master Electronic Sway Control System part HA81775 you were looking at has been discontinued.
Instead I recommend the Sway Command Electronic Sway Control System for Electric Trailer Brakes - 1 to 2 Axles # LC380605 which will work perfectly with the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller part # RED44FR.
Both are great products and will serve you well. I have linked video on both for you to check out if you haven't already. view full answer...
EL means extended length. It doesn't affect the roof rack because the available options we have fit both EL and non EL models of the 2004 Ford Excursion.
To add a roof rack to your Excursion you will want the Roof Rack by Rhino Rack and it includes the following parts:
Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 54" Long - Qty 2 item # RRVA137B-2
Rhino-Rack Quick Mount Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars - RTC and RT Roof Rack Tracks - Qty 4 item # RRRLT600

The instructions for both of the front-mounted hitches that are a fit for your 2003 Ford Excursion, the Draw-Tite # 65022 and Curt # 31114 reference the blocker beam, saying you'll need to remove and then reinstall it when putting on either hitch. This means, of course, that these hitches are not direct replacements for the blocker beam but either could still be installed. view full answer...
