When trying to replace steps you want to measure the width of the cut out where the steps store. If you measured that width and got 29.25" then that is much wider than normal.
I recommend the SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 26" to 29-7/8" RV Door Frames part # LC791572 which fits door widths 26" - 29-7/8" and entry heights of 27" - 36".
