There is not a weight rating for the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C22BR. The rails are rated for use with any 5th wheel hitch that will fit into the Industry Standard Rails. Some of which can be rated for 30K or more.
Your towing setup is only as strong as the weakest component. So the limiting factor here will be either the weight capacity of your fifth wheel hitch, or the towing capacity of your truck. Whichever is lower. view full answer...

It is generally recommended that you have at least 2 feet between the rear bumper of the truck and the fifth wheel trailer so that you have clearance around corners.
I can't recommend you move the fifth wheel hitch behind the axle center as that will unload the front suspension slightly which will affect braking and turning in emergency situations.
For a flat bed fifth wheel hitch the Demco Hijacker SL part # DM6076SL-FLAT would be a great options since it is designed for flat bed configurations.

When measuring the height of a 5th wheel hitch it would be from the top of the truck bed corrugations to the top of the head. The Q20, # C16130, is height adjustable from 13 to 17 inches. Since the X5, # 16310, sets in a gooseneck ball hole but the rails would be no higher than regular rails, it does not add height.
To get the proper height setting you would need to know the distance from the top of the bed side rails to the bottom of the trailer overhang. You need 5 or 6 inches of space... view full answer...
