I spoke with a representitive at TruXedo and they explained that the difference between the Telescoping Rack for TruXedo Elevate Rack System # TX84NV and the Telescoping Rack for TruXedo Elevate Rack System # TX24NV is that the CS is for compact size trucks and the FS is for full size trucks.
So, for your 2020 Ford F-150 you'd want the Telescoping Rack for TruXedo Elevate Rack System # TX84NV. view full answer...
The biggest differences between the Prodigy P2 brake controller, # 90885, and the P3 brake controller, # 90195, are the display, buttons and look of the controllers.
I like the buttons and display on the P3 controller myself because the display uses actual words for setup and troubleshooting rather than the display codes that the P2 uses. This makes it easier for me to know that I am adjusting the correct function or see the trouble shooting codes without referring back to the installation... view full answer...
The difference between Reese custom installation kit # RP56006-53 and # RP50081-58 is very subtle. Both bracket sets install on the outside of the frame but RP56006-53 uses the newer rail design above the bed and uses the furthest out bolt holes on either side to attach the above bed rails to the below bed brackets. This means that you will tighten the bolts on the outboard side of the frame which is easier to access.
I have included links to the installation instructions for both kits... view full answer...
The # TFR1504E and # TFRTT1504E have different designs for different applications. More than likely you need the # TFR1504E for your 2023 Ford F-150. This kit will provide additional support and stability while towing and hauling.
The # TFRTT1504E is a severe service kit designed to handle something like a slide-in camper or salt spreader that is always in your truck. This means it will be stiffer by comparison and result in a rough ride unless you have a heavy load in there at all times. view full answer...
The difference between the plate and fin style, # D13504, and the tube and fin style cooler, # D12904, is that the plate and fin models can cool better than the tube and fin models. You will notice that plate and fin coolers with the same rating as tube and fin coolers are smaller in size. Basically, the plate and fin cooler provides more surface area to extract heat from the transmission oil and also has internal turbulator technology to help the oil to cool faster and prevent pressure... view full answer...
It is always a good idea to use a weight distribution system when the weight of your trailer exceeds 50% of the weight of your tow vehicle.
Since your 2015 Ford F-150 SuperCrew with the 3.5L EcoBoost and Max Trailer tow Package weighs up to 4900lbs depending on the options, and your trailer has a GVWR of 4700lbs a weight distribution hitch would be my recommendation.
Starting with a sway control bar option you would need the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660 which will bolt to... view full answer...
I would be happy to help you. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs item # AL82WQ is for the 2wd model. It has a slightly different mounting bracket on the top. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs item # AL47PD fits the 4WD models of the 2022 Ford F-150. Both springs have a 5,000 lbs capacity.
I recommend adding the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Remote - Bluetooth - EZ Mount item # AL74000EZ. Air Lift's premium, wireless, onboard... view full answer...
I contacted our representative at Brophy about the differences between the Tie Down Anchor, part # TDSF, and the Camper Tie Down, part # HSSF.
Part # TDSF can be used on campers that have a total length of up to 8 feet in length. Part # HSSF can be used on any size campers.
Part # TDSF mounts into the stake pocket, where as part # HSSF mounts over the sidewall of the truck bed.
Also, part # HSSF is ok to use in trucks with spray-in bed liners. If your truck has a drop-in bed liner, it... view full answer...
Yes, the two Optronics lights you referenced, # MCL65ARB and # MC65ARB, are LED and standard incandescent versions of the same Thin Line fender clearance light. Both install with 3-inch mounting hole spacing and both measure 3-15/16 L x 1-1/4 W x 7/8 D.
LED lights offer the advantages of needing less power, not requiring routine bulb replacement and generating less waste heat. They also do not tend to change color (becoming yellow over time) the way incandescent bulbs do. view full answer...
Either one of the CIPA # CM11550 or Longview # LVT-2300-C towing mirrors will work well for you. As you pointed out, the CIPA mirror will allow more of the mirror's turn signal to be visible.
CIPA makes very high quality mirrors and even though we don't have any feedback yet on them since they are very new I would still recommend them for you since they have such a great reputation and all of their other custom fit mirrors fit very well. The attachment method for either mirror would... view full answer...
I wish there was a way to lock the rear seat down on to of the Du-Ha Truck Storage Box and Gun Case # DU20110 but the best lock for it would be the door locks of your 2016 Ford F-150. The seat also wouldn't fold up on it's own with this installed. To most people it would just look like a storage area under the seat.
Accordingn to Du-Ha, the roadside tool kit is located behind the metal bar that the cargo case mounts to. They said the tool kit can be accessed without removing their case. view full answer...
A stage 1 cold air intake will replace the filter and can also replace the box its mounted in. A stage 2 system such as # AR401-299 replaces all of that and has additional equipment, usually a larger diameter hose or collar. The higher the stage number the better the air flow. view full answer...
Both the Du-Ha Truck Storage and Gun Box, # DU20078 and the Husky Liners GearBox, # HL09251, are designed to fit the 2014 Ford F-150 SuperCrew with the factory installed subwoofer.
The Du-Ha box's dimensions are 57 inches long x 12-1/4 inches wide x 9 inches tall.
The Husky Liners box's dimensions are 35 inches long x 13 inches wide x 7 inches tall.

For a weight distribution system, there are always exceptions, but in general the systems with only bars and chains do not have sway control. They are adjustable in tension for different weight, but are a little more work. The bar systems whether trunnion or round bar, usually have an element of sway control and are easier to use.
My favorite system is a hybrid and is the Reese Straight-Line like # RP66083. Systems are available in different weight ratings and you want to make sure... view full answer...
Assuming your F150 has the factory add-on fender flares, I would recommend the # HL57591 rear and # HL56591 front mud flaps. Although the Husky Liners mud flaps require some drilling for installation (see linked videos), they are a bit heavier than the WeatherTech flaps and in my opinion would be slightly better suited for a rural environment. Husky liners also offers flaps for the front and rear wheels, while WeatherTech is offered for the rear only.
If you are only needing flaps for... view full answer...
According to our friends at Air Lift, the only difference between the two parts you mentioned, # AL59501 and AL59542 is that the # AL59542 uses an offset mounting bracket that will allow a fifth wheel hitch to be installed in the truck.
The bracket is the only difference between the two parts. If you do not currently have a fifth wheel hitch installed, you can use either part.
Both kits are manually inflated, but there are upgrade kits available that include on-board compressors like... view full answer...
For your application, on your 2005 Ford F-150, I think that the SumoSprings, # CSS-1094F, would be a good choice. The capacity should be more than enough for moving the trailer from time to time and it should provide a more comfortable ride.
This system is not designed to affect the unloaded height of the vehicle but rather are designed to be most functional when under a load. The same can be said of the Timbren system.
The Timbren system, # TFF150F, would be good for frequent and more... view full answer...
The main difference between the Curt trailer hitch # C14355 and hitch # 13355, is capacity. Both hitches feature a 2 inch receiver. Both hitches will fit on your truck if it has a 20 inch or smaller spare tire. But the key is the weight capacity of each hitch.
The Class IV trailer hitch, # C14355, has a tongue weight capacity of 1,000 pounds, and a gross trailer weight capacity of 10,000 pounds. When used with weight distribution, those ratings increase to 1,200/12,000 pounds. Keep in... view full answer...

From the looks of your previous searches, I believe you are referring to the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box # TH615 and the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Roof Cargo Box - 16 cu ft # Y95AV, I recommend going with the Thule Pulse. This is because even though the dual-sided lid is a great feature is a nice touch with the SkyBox NX 16, it is an additional feature that is not a deal-breaker for you. Also, even though the Thule Pulse is lighter, it is still built to withstand harsh elements and water.... view full answer...
