  • Adapter to Convert Vehicle 4-Pole Flat Vehicle Connector to 7-Way RV-Style Trailer Connector
  • We do offer adapters to allow a vehicle with one type of connector (in this case a 4-pole) to connect to a trailer that uses a 7-way RV-type blade connector. TowReady offers their # 30717 which includes a 4-pole flat connector that will plug in to your vehicle harness and a surface-mount 7-way connector intended to accept the 7-way plug on your pop-up. If you prefer a bracket-mount connector you can instead use # C57674 from Curt, which includes a mounting bracket for the 7-way and also...

  • Is a Trunk Mount Bike Rack Available for a 2008 Honda Pilot
  • I checked with our suppliers and at this time there are no trunk mount bike racks available for the 2008 Honda Pilot, because there is no safe place for connection of the lower straps on the vehicle. At this time your best option for carrying bikes would be a Draw-Tite Class III Hitch, # 75599, and once the hitch is installed, the Swagman Trailhead 3 Bike Carrier, # S63365, would be a good choice for carrying 3 bikes on the Pilot.

  • How Does LED Light Bar part # 47-54-001 Wire to 4-Way
  • On the LED light bar part # 47-54-001 the white is ground which would match the white on the 4-way, the brown is for taillight which also should match brown on the 4-way, and the red of the light goes to the stop/turn circuit of the 4-way which will be the green for the right turn/stop or yellow for the left turn/stop. Either will work but it will flash with the corresponding blinker. If you want a converter to prevent it from flashing when you use the blinker you'd also want the # PP20-702.

  • What Type Of 3 Bike Rack Will Fit On A 2008 Honda Pilot
  • To be able to carry a bike on your 2008 Honda Pilot you will need to use a hitch bike rack, like the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 75599, which is a custom fit for your 2008 Honda Pilot. This is a Class III hitch with a 350 lbs. tongue weight capacity and would work great with a 3 bike rack. I have included a video link showing installation of the hitch on a similar vehicle, as well as the installation instructions. With that hitch installed, you can add the Swagman Trailhead, part...

  • Compatible Base Plates for 2004 Honda Pilot to Work with Roadmaster StowMaster 5000 Tow Bar

  • Roof Rack & Roof-Mount Bike Carriers for 2004 Honda Pilot
  • There is no single carrier that will both handle the weight of your 450-lb Honda scooter and also allow you to carry two standard bicycles, and at the same time remain within the capacity of the hitch on your 2004 Honda Pilot. The hitches made for your Pilot, shown on the linked page, have only a 350-lb tongue weight (TW) capacity. By the time you add the weight of a typical scooter carrier to your scooter's 450-lb weight you are way over the hitch and vehicle TW limit. Transporting your...

  • Can a Manual A-Frame Trailer Jack be Raised and Lowered Using a Power Drill
  • Like you said there are some stabilizer jacks and even some winches that will allow you to attach a drill to raise/lower or reel in legs or line much faster. But there are no A-frame jacks, or any regular trailer tongue jacks, that I have seen that have this type of feature. If manually cranking the handle starts to be a chore the best option is to go with an electric jack. The most cost effective one is Ultra-Fab jack # UF38-944037 rated for 3,500 pounds.

  • 5-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness for 2012 Honda Pilot
  • If your Pilot came from the factory with a 7-way trailer connector, you would simply need an adapter like part # A75TB. The adapter would plug into the 7-way, and the 5-pole from the trailer would plug into the adapter. If your Pilot did not come from the factory with a trailer connector, you have two alternatives. You can install a 7-way, part # 118558 and use the adapter mentioned above. This would be a plug-and-play install, very simple. If you wanted to avoid using the adapter, you...

  • Vehicle Connector with Both 4-Pole and 7-Way Wiring Formats
  • If the factory 7-way in the bumper of your 2011 Honda Pilot EX uses a round U.S. Car type connector (shown in the linked photo) then you can easily convert to the combination 4-pole/7-way connector type using part # HM40950. This combination connector simply plugs right in to the U.S. Car connector. If you instead need to hard-wire a connector you can use Hopkins part # HM48470 which includes a mounting bracket. This vehicle connector accepts 4-pole, 5-pole and 7-way wiring. It has screw...
