To cap off the unused propane line going to your old fridge, you can use a threaded plug fitting, which is something you can get at any local hardware store. view full answer...
Hello Debra. Our best option for a 120v refrigerator to replace your Dometic refrigerator will be the Everchill RV Refrigerator w Freezer Drawers # EV87FR. This will be a bit larger than you Dometic fridge and it requires the cutout to be at least 37-7/16" wide x 84-1/2" tall x 28-3/4" deep, so please do confirm that this will fit in your space. This model has french doors and two freezer drawers. It comes in a black stainless steel which is durable and easy to clean. view full answer...

It sounds like you're looking for the Replacement Small Door Bin for Furrion Arctic 10 cu ft 12-Volt Built-In RV Refrigerators # FR57VD.
If you have a different Furrion fridge then I recommend checking with your local appliance store to see if they have something that might work as Furrion doesn't have any other fridge door shelf replacements available. view full answer...
Hello Greg, thanks for reaching out. The RV Refrigerator Roof Vent Cap and Base # DMC97FR is known to work with many Dometic refrigerator models just like yours. That said, these are not custom fitted, so the best way to confirm fitment is to simply measure the current vent. This Dometic # DMC97FR vent cover fits a 23-3/4" long x 6-3/4" wide cutout which is fairly standard. just make sure your vent cutout is the same size and if it is, this will be exactly what you need. view full answer...
Yes, the base for the RV Refrigerator Roof Vent Cap and Base # DMC37FR will be larger than the cutout in the roof. Generally this will replace one with that size cutout and it will have the same screw holes. So the base will actually be larger than that cutout. view full answer...

Hi Phil; good question and the Furrion Arctic RV Refrigerator # FR42PJ does not have a lock for the doors to lock them while traveling. There isn't a separate latch or lock for this particular fridge, so if ensuring the doors are always closed is paramount, I would suggest considering a different option, the Everchill RV Fridge # EV77FR.
The # EV77FR is smaller, at about 11 cu ft compared to the 16 cu ft of the Furrion, but it does have a latch that can be used so the doors stay shut -... view full answer...

Hi Phillip,
The Furrion Arctic RV Refrigerator w/ Freezer # FR42PJ is going to come with a red, white, and green wire. The red wire is your positive, white is your negative, and green is your ground. Both the white and red can be ran to the DC distribution panel and the green can be mounted directly to the frame with a ring terminal. We've found with RV fridges that attaching the ground to the frame right below it tends to avoid some issues.
