  • Replacement for Coleman-Mach AC on 2001 Wilderness Camper
  • Hi Charlie; For an AC unit that you can easily swap out with your Coleman-Mach ducted setup I recommend the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner # FR42PV. This comes with a wiring harness that lets you plug directly into your Coleman setup making for a relatively simple and easy installation. This unit has a 15,000 Btu capacity but it is also available as a 13,500 Btu with # FR82PV. If you would prefer it in black we have the # FR32PV and # FR62PV as well.

  • Would The Voyager WiSight 2.0 Work For Both An Enclosed Trailer And Truck Bed Camper
  • Yes, the Voyager WiSight 2.0 Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision # ASA57YR would be able to splice into your running light circuit to power the rear camera, it even comes with butt connectors already on the wire harness to make integration with your factory wiring faster. The monitor for this system can pair with up to four cameras so you could just get a second camera # ASA64YR to wire into the running light circuit on the truck camper and then move the monitor to whichever...

  • How Should The High Pointe Over the Range RV Convection Microwave # HP44ZR Mount In 2006 Fleetwood B
  • The instructions for the High Pointe Over the Range RV Convection Microwave # HP44ZR are fairly vague when you consider not all RV manufacturers build campers the exacts same way. Some will have wood studs, others will have metal studs but it sounds like your 2006 Fleetwood Bounder 35E has a sheet of steel built into the walls. This would explain why your Sharp microwave mounting plate has so many screws holding it in. Your walls will likely still have some vertical metal studs behind the...

  • Correct Front Mount Hitch for a 2019 Ford E-Series Class C RV
  • The correct front hitch for your Class C RV on the 2019 Ford E-350 Cutaway is the Draw-Tite # 65053. This is a custom fit application that installs using existing holes but it looks like you'll need to use some drill bits to make the holes a little larger, and you'll also need to cut some of the fascia at the front of your RV for this to fit. The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 33055 you're looking at fits older models of the E-350 and won't work for your RV. Attached is an...

  • Can 69" Solera Awning Arms Replace 93" Awning Arms
  • Hi Richard, The arm length just dictates how far out the the awning can extend away from the trailer so you can still go with with smaller arms, you'll just likely have to fill in the old bolt holes from the previous arms. The Solera Smart Arm Electric RV Awning Conversion Kit # LC759405 is going to extend out 8' from the trailer. For the installation you'll want to pick up some butyl tape # AL28FJ and non-sag sealant # 344270341437-1 in order to prevent any water leaks.

  • Can The Trailer Valet RVR Trailer Dolly Be Used Without The Hitch Ball Connector?
  • Trailer Valet created the XL Mounting Bracket # TVXLMB which will allow you to use their RVR's like the RVR9 # TVRVR9 and RVR12 # TV59FR you looked at without having to use the ball in the coupler. Instead you will remove the hitch ball and lower the trailer onto the RVR with the mounting bracket. This will allow you to align it to your hitch ball on your motorhome which is going to make it much easier for you.

  • Trailer Hitch for Bike Rack on Ford E-450 Bus Converted Into RV
  • Hi Dane; to add a hitch for a bike rack to your Ford E-450 bus you can use the universal Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver. We have the # 41990-07 with 7" brackets and the # 41990-16 with 16" brackets. This is a weld-on installation so we recommend taking it to a certified welder. The hitch has a 2" receiver despite being Class V so it will work with most bike racks.

  • Parts Needed For Towing a Camper Behind a 2023 Toyota Tacoma Without Towing Package
  • Sorry for the confusion on the details for the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness # 22117 for your 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Since it can be used as a replacement for the OEM tapping into that connector is easier on those vehicles. Since you do not have the connector on your Tacoma you can simply use a Test Light # PTW2993 to find the correct wire on your brake switch which is on the brake pedal mount. Then you will be able to connect a controller like the Prodigy P3 # 90195. I personally...

  • Tie-Down Points Needed For Securing A Load With An Adjustable-Fit Trailer Hitch
  • Hey Don, This isn't always the case for every adjustable-fit trailer hitch but Curt does require it with their # 13703. If you don't have a tie-down nearby to connect a strap to then you can use a stud finder to locate studs in the back wall of the RV and bolt on some anchors # 348825. I'd put like three or four anchors to give yourself a bit of adjustability when securing your load and then you can use ratchet straps, cam straps, etc. to wrap around the load and clip onto the anchor d-rings.

  • The # TFR250SDJ is the right choice for your 2023 Ford F-250. The # TFRTT350J has a different design for severe service which would be something like a slide-in camper or salt spreader you're keeping in the bed of the truck all the time. The regular Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # TFR250SDJ is what you want for support while towing your 5th wheel in the summer. I have attached an installation video below for your reference.

  • Recommended Weight Distribution Compatible Hitch for a 2023 Subaru Ascent
  • Looks like you're interested in a weight distribution system for your 2023 Subaru Ascent and possibly a hitch compatible with one. I took a look at your owner's manual (page 431) and if you have the factory hitch it isn't rated for one so the only option you have for it is the Curt True Course Advanced Bluetooth Trailer Sway Control - 1 to 4 Axles item # C94VV. The Curt True Course item # C94VV is an electric sway control system that connects to your Subaru's 7-Way and is controlled by...
