You can use any method you like to get you out of mud though there are a couple of things to note. The first is that you will need chains that have an off-road designation and the other is that you need to follow the guidelines for using chains that is in the owner's manual of your 2004 Venture which states you should use Class S chains on the front tires only.
There is one chain that fits the bill on the size 215/70-15 or 215/70-15 tires that are common to '04 Ventures, the Titan Chain... view full answer...
For your 2003 Chevy Venture you can absolutely use the Curt # C55355 you mentioned. This unit will not require any wire cutting or splicing to install on your vehicle. It will be a simple plug and play installation. I attached installation instructions for you to check out also. view full answer...
I called my contact at Thule and asked about the Adventurer cargo box on your Venture. They were unable to tell me if the box would fit but we may have a solution. Since the original box came with U-bolts for installation, you may be able to find replacement U-bolts at a local hardware store that can be used.
We do offer a replacement hardware kit, part # TH04997. This kit does not use U-bolts but instead uses a more standard bolt and plates. I cannot guarantee a fit for your crossbars... view full answer...
I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your T-connector, item # C55355. Most customers assume that the plug is directly behind the drivers side panel in the rear. But the plug is usually behind the air conditioning unit that is directly behind the panel the air conditioning unit will have to be pulled away to access the plug. I hope this helps. Let me know if you need more info. view full answer...
Regardless of the amount of leaves a leaf spring has if the capacity is the same between two of them they would both flex and bottom out the same.
I would recommend you have your trailer and boat weighed so that you know whether or not you are overloading the trailer/leaf springs. You should note that going to a heavier spring won't necessarily give your trailer a higher weight rating, just a higher spring rating.
For a higher rated spring you would want the part # e28SR as it has a... view full answer...
I believe I may have a solution for you. The TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLF1003-30 has a 30k towing capacity and is designed for cab and chassis style truck frames that are 34 inches apart measured from outside to outside. You should note that this hitch only has this rating when used with a weight distribution system like the # TLWD1000.
You will need to verify that your motorhome has the same capacity and you should note that this hitch will require drilling... view full answer...
The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2004 Venture with the straight bumper is the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 36361.
This is a Class ll trailer hitch and it has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. For a drawbar I recommend part # 36061. This is a non-step trailer hitch.
For a 2 inch hitch ball I recommend part # 19258 and for a 1-17/8 inch ball you can use part # 19257. view full answer...
You can add a second axle to your SnoPro Hybrid Snowmobile Trailer but there are a couple of things you will want to keep in mind before proceeding.
Adding a second axle will definitely help with distributing your load better but it won't actually increase the overall weight capacity of the trailer. This is simply because a trailer will always be limited by its weakest link, meaning that even if your axle capacity might increase, the trailer frame itself is likely still rated for less... view full answer...
For the lighter duty trailers like what you have we have Timbren kits like the part # TTRA1702 which will help to stabilize the trailer when towing and level the trailer while absorbing some of the road shock. This will allow the trailer to track better and reduce some sway.
We don't have shock kits for the lighter duty trailers at this time though. view full answer...

Although I managed to find an online owner's manual for your 1997 Winnebago Adventurer, it did not specify the specific steps that you have. The Winnebago manual said there will be another manual specifically for your steps which has detailed information about them; you will need to use this manual to find out the manufacturer and model.
This will allow you to get the correct replacement motor; for example the Lippert Components Kwikee Step Motor for 25 Series # LC369506 is, as the name... view full answer...

All of the hitches available for your 1998 Chevy Venture require drilling for installation. On your 1998 model, you would be required to drill one or two holes, depending on the wheel base length of your vehicle.
If your Venture is a short wheel base model, you would only have to drill for the rear most mounting holes closest to the vehicle bumper for the Draw-Tite # 75278 Class III. Long base models would require additional drilling for the forward most mounting hole on the passenger... view full answer...
On a 2000 Chevy Venture you will need to pull up the threshold panel in the cargo area so you can pull back the panel on the driver side. The wiring harness should be nearer the end of the vehicle. It can be either a single connector with nothing plugged into it or two connectors connected together.
In either case it could be hiding behind another wire bundle or even taped up with another bundle so you cannot see it. I have included links to a couple of videos showing typical installations... view full answer...
Suspension supplements like the Timbren kits we carry may or may not be needed. At 2,500 pounds dry you should be within the tow capacity of the Venture. If your total trailer weight is close to the limit of the van, then I would suggest a suspension supplement. Since you will be towing a camper that will have pretty much the same load each time, I would suggest the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System as it will not need to be adjusted for varying loads. You would use part # TGMRREN if... view full answer...
It sounds like the controller might have an internal short that is feeding back into the vehicle, causing the brake light to illuminate.
You can test this by using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 on the red wire exiting the rear of the controller. There should be no voltage on that wire unless the brake pedal is pressed. If you see any intermittent voltage, it would indicate a short in the controller, which would then need to be replaced.
The Prodigy does send a bit of output voltage... view full answer...

To wire the 12 Volt accessory circuit on your 7-Way trailer connector, you should use wire no smaller than 12 gauge, although 10 gauge would be best. We offer the wire you need, the part # is 10-1-1, which is sold by the foot. I would recommend protecting that circuit with a 40 amp auto-reset inline circuit breaker, part # 9510. To wire the circuit, get a piece of the 10 gauge wire that will be long enough to reach the battery from the trailer connector on the rear of the vehicle. Attach... view full answer...
